About UYUY Games
Hi, I’m Chris, the person behind UYUY Games.
I’m an independent game designer making small tabletop RPGs about people, places, and moments that don’t always get to be the center of the story.
A lot of my games start with sports—the backup goalie waiting for their name to be called, the cut man working between rounds, the groundskeeper preparing the field, or the people behind the scenes trying to hold everything together. But UYUY isn’t just about sports. I’m interested in everyday jobs, overlooked lives, strange little worlds, and the stories hiding inside them.
My games tend to be compact, accessible, and built around simple tools like playing cards, dice, a pencil, and a journal. I love mechanics that create unexpected stories and leave room for you to fill in the details.
UYUY Games is currently a one-person operation. I design the games, write them, build the books, make the art, experiment, playtest, revise, and occasionally make a glorious mess of all of the above.
The goal is simple: make games that feel like something.
Sometimes that means glory. Sometimes regret. Sometimes sitting on the bench wondering if tonight is finally your night.
If that sounds like your kind of game, welcome to UYUY.
You can find my latest releases and playtests here, and you can join The UYUY Clubhouse newsletter to hear about new games, behind-the-scenes development, community playtests, and whatever I’m working on next.
Thanks for playing.
— Chris
